2025Consorzio Cooperative Lavoratori is a cooperative housing consortium for which building a home means far more than putting up a building: each project gives concrete form to a way of living that is sustainable, shared, accessible and deeply human, guided by clear principles of mutualism, responsibility and participation.

The book, published to celebrate the cooperative’s 50th anniversary, gathers the most significant projects from each decade since its founding. Built on extensive research in CCL’s historical archives, it brings together all architectural interventions, related documentation and key milestones, tracing the cooperative’s trajectory and evolution over time. 

It includes a comprehensive register of all projects, thematic essays on ways of living, the principles of cooperation and the initiatives promoted by CCL, offering both a visual archive and a story of communities in the making.
